Strabopidae is an extinct family of Cambrian arthropods, placed in its own order, Strabopida, within the arachnomorph lineage. It comprises four genera, including Khankaspis, Paleomerus, Parapaleomerus and Strabops, and is often suggested to be closely related to the aglaspidids on the basis of similar body form. All known strabopids are poorly preserved, so their exact placement among the arthropods remains uncertain, though Paleomerus has been described as perhaps the best available model of a primitive arachnomorph.
