Eoglaucomys is a monotypic genus of flying squirrel in the family Sciuridae, containing the single species Eoglaucomys fimbriatus, the Kashmir flying squirrel. It is found in Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan, where it inhabits subtropical and tropical dry forests. The species feeds mainly on flowers, flower buds, seeds, and fruit, taking little foliage, a diet that sets it apart from other flying squirrels such as the red giant flying squirrel. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, though it faces pressure from habitat loss.
