Galagoides

Galagoides is a genus of small nocturnal primates known as the western dwarf galagos, comprising three species native to western and central Africa: Galagoides demidoff (Prince Demidoff's bushbaby), Galagoides kumbirensis (Angolan dwarf galago) and Galagoides thomasi (Thomas's bushbaby). The genus was established by Andrew Smith in 1833 and belongs to the family Galagidae. Its members are distinguished from the eastern dwarf galagos, now placed in the separate genus Paragalago on genetic and vocal grounds, with both groups believed to have evolved their small body size independently on either side of the East African Rift.
