Hylopetes is a genus of flying squirrel in the family Sciuridae with about ten recognized species distributed across Southeast Asia, including the Palawan flying squirrel and the red-cheeked flying squirrel. The genus's fossil record extends back to the Late Miocene, and its living species occupy a range of forest habitats across the region.
