Iomys is a small genus of flying squirrel in the family Sciuridae, comprising two species, the Javanese flying squirrel and the Mentawai flying squirrel, found respectively on Java and the Mentawai Islands of Indonesia. The genus was established by Oldfield Thomas in 1908, with the Javanese flying squirrel, first described by Waterhouse in 1838, as its type species.
