Otocolobus is a genus of cats, family Felidae, effectively containing the single species Otocolobus manul, known as Pallas's cat or the manul, with two recognized subspecies as of 2017. It inhabits a large region of Central Asia spanning the Caucasus, the Iranian Plateau, the Hindu Kush, the Himalayas and the Tibetan Plateau to the Altai-Sayan region and the South Siberian Mountains. About the size of a domestic cat at 2.5 to 4.5 kilograms, it has long, dense light grey fur and rounded ears set low on the head, camouflage well suited to rocky montane grassland in a cold continental climate.
