Petinomys, commonly called the dwarf flying squirrels, is a genus of about eight flying squirrel species native to Asia, including the Basilan flying squirrel, the Travancore flying squirrel, and Temminck's flying squirrel. Members of the genus belong to the flying squirrel tribe Pteromyini within the family Sciuridae, and the genus's fossil record extends from the Late Miocene to the present.
