Platysmurus is a genus of treepie in the crow family Corvidae, subfamily Crypsirininae, comprising two species of black magpies of Southeast Asia and Borneo: the Malayan black magpie, found across Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand, and the Bornean black magpie, endemic to Borneo. Both species are assessed as Least Concern, and the genus was established by Ludwig Reichenbach in 1850, with the Malayan black magpie as its type species.
