Sciurotamias is a genus of rodent in the squirrel family Sciuridae, found in China, and commonly called Asian rock squirrels. It belongs to the tribe Marmotini and contains two species, Pere David's rock squirrel and Forrest's rock squirrel. The genus was named by Miller in 1901, with Sciurus davidianus, originally described by Alphonse Milne-Edwards in 1867, designated as its type species.
