Sundasciurus is a genus of about twenty squirrel species in the family Sciuridae, subfamily Callosciurinae, tribe Callosciurini, found across Sundaland including Sumatra, Borneo, the Philippines, and Palawan. The genus splits into two subgenera, Sundasciurus with eight species and Aletesciurus with eleven, plus one species of uncertain placement, and its members range from mountain and tree squirrels to ground dwelling forms, including the slender squirrel and the horse tailed squirrel.
