Zygentoma is an insect order of about 550 known species, including the silverfishes, fishmoths and firebrats. Its members are wingless and carry three long caudal filaments at the tip of the abdomen, a feature shared with the related order Archaeognatha, though in Zygentoma the two outer filaments are nearly as long as the central one.
