Animalia

The animal kingdom: multicellular eukaryotic organisms that obtain energy by consuming other organisms, lack cell walls, and in nearly every case are capable of at least some form of independent movement during their life cycle. Animalia is organized into roughly three dozen recognized phyla, of which Arthropoda and Chordata between them account for the great majority of described species.
