The Palawan stink badger, also called the Calamian stink badger, is found only on the islands of Palawan and the nearby Calamian group in the Philippines. It is a squat, short-legged, badger-like member of the skunk family with a thick coat of dark fur and a white cap on its head, and it forages on the ground at night for earthworms, insects, and small invertebrates. Confined to a small island range that is increasingly cleared for agriculture, it is considered vulnerable to further decline.
