The Kihansi spray toad is a small, live bearing, insect eating toad once endemic to Tanzania. It is classified as extinct in the wild by the IUCN, surviving only in captive breeding colonies, with an estimated 6,200 individuals held mostly at the Bronx Zoo and the Toledo Zoo.
